Lake 1 is usually the Match Lake with Lake 2 taking over when Silver Fish
are the quarry in matches.
There are talks with Fish breeders to put extra Tench into Lake 2, they should
be various sizes from 6-8 inches up to 10-12 inches.
Wider/Deeper swims have been cut on Lake 2 on the bank closest to Lake 1, Please remember Rule 10 (leave 1 metre clearance).
If you are a Key holder you may park by the toilets at the base
of Lakes 2 & 4. But please be respectful and allow access.
Some anglers have the idea of a Lake 4 Syndicate, WRONG, Lake 4 is for EVERYBODY.
If all swims are being used, fish another lake. DO NOT ask an angler to vacate.
Please do not fish Lake 4 from the bank closest to Lake 2. Fish Only from Club recognised swims.
One of the more Difficult Lakes but holds the biggest fish.
This Lake needs time and effort and for those willing to put these in, the rewards
can be good.
Most Methods will work and in the Summer you can see the fish
swimming just under the surface.
Try a floating bait to tempt these, (but remember BYLAW No.:1 Only 1 rod allowed).
